Welcome to base113.com
There are three main sections to this site. The section you are currently in is called Main and is used mainly for listing updates to the site as a whole. It also contains an area for videos. The second section is devoted to Explosive Ordnance Disposal - the military’s bomb squad. The last section is the home of the roleplaying game PROTEUS.
There is also a forum available for discussion on any of the content on base113. This is where you can post your ideas and gripes on roleplaying games in the RPG wishlist. This site also contains a links page. I hope you enjoy the site. Feel free to email me with any questions or comments.

Concept art for PROTEUS Second Edition has been posted in the Gallery. Most of the sentient species are represented. The artwork was done by Mates Laurentiu from AvatarArt.

Enigma is no more. I would like to apologize to those that were looking forward to this game and thank those who helped work on it. I would also like to thank everyone that expressed interest or asked questions about Enigma.
Enigma began as nothing more than idea for a game system, and as such the game world always seemed forced to me. I do not think this is the way to create a quality game, and so I have stopped work on Enigma.
There is an upside to this though. While I like PROTEUS and am pleased with the way it has come along, it is not as great as I originally hoped. The quality and detail of both the actual rulebook and the game world as a whole are not what I think they should be. So I am beginning work on the Second Edition of PROTEUS. I plan to greatly expand the game world and improve the overall quality of the game. The system itself will also likely see changes.
Once again I am asking for your help to make PROTEUS the best game it can be. Tell me what you hate about PROTEUS; tell me what you love. Ask questions, and make suggestions. Send art and ideas. Send me characters and adventures that you have created.
I again apologize to those of you who were interested in Enigma. However, I believe that PROTEUS can become a truly great game, and I intend to do what I can to make sure that it happens.

The base113 Store will be adding some new products over the next few weeks, mostly centered around EOD. Black shirts will hit en masse after the holidays.

The EOD section has been updated. Names have changed, awards have been given, and parties have gotten out of hand. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal category in the gallery has been reorganized. Pictures of the Halloween Party and the recent TDY to Silver Flag will be posted soon.
